History

Patricia Ann Dance Studios is now celebrating 63 years in Dunedin, Florida. Elaine Forestier started the studio in 1961. In 1991, her daughter, Patricia McNally joined the studio after having a successful career in New York performing in shows such as "Cats" and "Sophisticated Ladies". The studio expanded to its current location with four classrooms and an award winning competition team.

PA Dance has also been a part of the Coordinated Child Care and R Club outreach programs bringing dance to Pinellas County after school as well as Summer Camp for the City of Dunedin. Our teachers maintain level II clearance to input Jazz dance and Hip Hop with students in these programs ages 8-14 years old.

Patricia McNally

      Patricia McNally has been the Artistic Director of Patricia Ann Studios in Dunedin for 25 years. Prior to her teaching career, Mrs McNally toured in many shows including Hello Dolly, Mame, Fiddler on the Roof, Lil Abner and Sophisticated Ladies. She performed in Atlantic City at the Claridge. She has appeared in commercials and on a TV Special with Glenn Campbell. Additionally, she performed the role of Tantomile and understudied the role of Demeter in Cats. She is a member of Actor's Equity Association and the SAG- AFTRA theatrical unions. Now as the director of Patricia Ann, she oversees the faculty and classes as well as teaching ballet, pointe and musical theater. Mrs McNally directs the Patricia Ann Competition Team which competes regionally January through May and Nationally each July. From 2010-2014, Mrs. McNally tested to be an American Ballet Theater certified teacher levels pre-primary through five. She is the adjunct Musical Theater dance, Ballet, and Pointe instructor for the Pinellas County Center for the Arts, teaching Musical Theater students jazz and tap technique, coaching for Thespian competition and choreographing for the center's musical main stage productions. Mrs. McNally adjudicates for Walker's Rising Stars, the Ruth Eckerd Hall Scholarship auditions,Heritage Arts, Florida Dance Masters, and Florida Dance Educators Organization.

 
 

 
 

 

Morgan Angelillis-Storrison

      Morgan Angelillis  began dancing at the age of 5 at Patricia Ann Dance Studios where she currently teaches.  Her early tap training came under the direction of Elaine Forestier.  She has gained additional knowledge from Master Instructors such as Debbie Dee, Dianne Walker, Michelle Dorrance, Nicole Hockenberry,  Jason Samuels Smith, and the late Professor Robert Reed.  Morgan continues her education in tap by attending annual tap festivals including the Chicago Human Rhythm Project, Tap City the NY Tap Festival, The Southeastern Tap Explosion, the Stockholm Tap Festival, The Big Apple Tap Festival and most recently the So Flo TapFestival.   Ms. Angelillis has been on the staff of Patricia Ann Dance Studios since 2002 as an Int/Adv Tap instructor as well as choreographing for the competitive team.  Her competition pieces have been recognized for high scores, best precision and best technical execution at both the regional and national level and have been showcased at Walt Disney World's Tomorrowland and Hollywood Studios.  Wishing to share her passion for tap dance with the local community, Ms. Angelillis founded Tapped In, Inc., a youth/young adult tap performance ensemble, and currently serves as the President and Artistic Director.  Since its inception in September 2008, Tapped In, Inc. has had as many as 15 active members and performs original works throughout Pinellas, Hillsborough, Manatee and Sarasota counties.   In the Fall of 2013, Anthony LoCascio, an original NYC cast member of the show Tap Dogs, personally chose Morgan Angelillis to be a core member of his inaugural company, Taplife.  The Taplife Company debuted at the Big Apple Tap Festival 2013 with a performance of "Blurred Lines".

 
 

 
 

Lori land

     Lori Land has been teaching the Young Dancer combo classes for 6 years. Ms Land began dancing at Patricia Ann Dance Studios when she was six years old and continued dancing there until her high school graduation. She attended Southern Methodist University in Dallas and graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor's Degree in English Literature and a Minor in Dance Performance. At SMU, she performed in several dance pieces, including one by Larry White of the Martha Graham Dance Company. Additionally, Ms. Land was asked to choreograph two pieces of her own at the school. Following college, she danced with the modern dance companies Ewert & Company, NOVA Dancing Company, Dancers Unlimited in Dallas, and the Firewalkers Dance Company in New York. She also danced with the Joel Hall Dancers in Chicago. In 2010, she danced with the Tampa modern dance company Shoes at the Door. Ms Land was  then hired by the Entertainment Department at Busch Gardens Tampa as a character performer. In 2011, she was given the opportunity to tour Europe and Asia with Sesame Street Live. After two years of touring, she returned to Busch Gardens to as a trainer, live singer, production assistant, co-creator of the Summer Nights Luau, and park spokesperson, in addition to costume character. Ms. Land has just accepted a position as a full time Pre-K teacher for Pinellas County Schools. She is very excited to continue her teaching journey and share her love of dance with her students here at PADStudios and beyond!


 
 
 

Deborah Randell

Debbie started dancing at the age of three, where she learned Ballet, Tap, and Modern. She started focusing on Ballet and at the age of 13 she joined The Johannesburg Art, Ballet, Music, and Drama school. Here she studied Royal Academy of dance under Bernice Lloyd. Along with her Ballet raining she also studied Spanish Dancing, Contemporary, and Lyrical Greek dancing. She received honors in her RAD Advanced Examination and was awarded her Solo Seal in 1989. She then joined Pact Ballet in her first professional year and later the Cape Town City ballet for the next five years where she danced a multitude of solo roles including Leading Willi in Giselle , Autumn Fairy in Cinderella, Nerriman in Raymonda, and the Big Swan in Swan lake. She later moved to the UK and under the supervision of Brenda Yeates received her I.D.T.A Intermediate Teacher's Certificate with distinction. She then went on to teach at the Solihull School of dance under Jackie Lee Clarke. In 2015 she moved to the US and is now delighted to join our faculty and hopes to be a positive influence on our young dancers!

 

 

 
 

 
 

Sophia Constantini

       Sophia Constantini began studying ballet, tap, and jazz at 5 years old. By the time she was ten, her love of dance had driven her to add hip hop, contemporary, pointe and musical theater. Sophia performed with the Miami City Ballet in the children's corps at Ruth Eckerd Hall for four seasons. Competitive dance also became a part of her schedule at ten and continued throughout high school. Sophia attended Clearwater High School where she sang and danced with their Thespian Troupe in the annual musicals and the regional and state theater events. Attending St Petersburg College for two years achieving her A.A., Sophia performed with the dance company CoMotion. Miss Constantini has now completed her accounting degree at USF. Sophia has been teaching and coaching for the studio for four years sharing her passion for dance. Her lyrical choreography has consistently won first place honors at both regional and National competition in solo, duet and group pieces.

Linda Featherstone has owned and operated Miss Linda’s Dance Studio for the last 29 years, teaching Ballet, Tap, Musical Theatre Jazz and Special Needs dancers. Beginning her formal training at the Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo, she has had a long, prestigious career performing with City Center Ballet of Tampa, Showboat Dinner Theatre,Golden Apple Dinner Theatre, Country Dinner Playhouse and more. Additionally, Miss Featherstone has choreographed for dinner theatre and community theatre as well as teaching at Ruth Eckerd Hall. PADS is honored to have Miss Featherstone joining our studios offering dance for Special Needs dancers.



Jennifer Kitchens was born in Plano, Texas where she began her dance training at Ballet Dallas. After moving to Massachusetts, she continued training at the Boston Ballet on scholarship and was trained in the Balanchine method at Ballet Workshop of New England throughout high school as well. Growing up, she was accepted to and attended many summer intensives including Miami City Ballet, Orlando Ballet, Boston Ballet, Milwaukee Ballet, Virginia School of the Arts, Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre, and Burklyn Ballet Theatre.

After high school, Jennifer attended Mercyhurst College and graduated with a BA in Dance under the direction of Tauna Hunter (former principal dancer with Ballet West.) There she performed in many ballets including "Giselle" and "Coppelia," as well as several modern, jazz, and contemporary works. She also choreographed three pieces on her fellow classmates and performed in the American College Dance Festival.

Jennifer was offered a contract with Atlanta Festival Ballet upon graduation where she danced professionally for seven years. There she performed roles such as 'Elsa' from "The Frozen Ballet," 'Clara' from "The Nutcracker," 'White Rabbit' from "Alice in Wonderland," 'Pas de trois' from "Swan Lake," and 'White Cat' of 'Puss in Boots' from "The Sleeping Beauty." While at Atlanta Festival Ballet, she was invited to dance and choreograph for "Rippled Effect," a gala performance with many professional Atlanta based dancers. Jennifer also had the privilege to choreograph two pieces on The Georgia Ballet's professional company. In 2017, Jennifer became a freelance artist and was hired to perform in the ballet, "Uncaged's Christmas," under the direction of Rebekah Diaddigo. Jennifer has also been hired as a guest artist to perform the role 'Snow White' in North Georgia School of Ballet's "Snow White and the Seven Dwarves." In 2018, she joined Tampa Ballet Theatre where she danced for two seasons. In 2019, she was asked to help audition and rehearse for the Moscow Ballet's Great Russian Nutcracker and was hired to perform as the ‘Sugar Plum Fairy’ as a guest artist in “The Nutcracker.” Jennifer just joined Brandon Ballet and is excited for the new opportunities. She has been teaching for almost ten years and enjoys sharing her love for ballet to the upcoming generations!
